New Delhi, the capital of India, is a heritage city. It is an administrative district as well as the capital of National Capital Territory (NCT) Delhi which is jointly administered by both the Central Government of India and Government of Delhi. The city is also the seat of all three branches of the Government of India, hosting the Rashtrapati Bhavan, Parliament House, and the Supreme Court of India. The city hosts famous historical monuments like the Rajpath, Rajghat, Connaught Place, Gandhi Smriti, Jantar Mantar, and various other commercial centres like the Barakhamba Road and the ITO. The city also houses two of the largest museums of the country, the National Museum and the National Gallery of Modern Art.
